About the piece
'Último Desejo' ('Last Wish') is a samba written by Noel Rosa in 1937, among the final songs of the Rio composer often called the poet of Vila Isabel, who died that same year. A resigned farewell to a lost love, its melancholy melody and confessional tone come through in this arrangement for solo guitar.
